Dr Matt Brookes has been a consultant radiologist for over 12 years and has extensive experience working in both public hospitals and private radiology practices. Originally from London, he first worked in Australia at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH), where he completed sub-specialty training in breast imaging. This was followed by three years working in Canada, before returning to Perth at SCGH and Fremantle Hospitals. With the opening of Fiona Stanley Hospital, he led the Breast Centre and then became the Head of Medical Imaging. He has acted as an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists and as a NATA assessor for accreditation visits. Special interests: Breast imaging, image-guided procedures, and general MRI.
