About:
Dr. Yuranga Weerakkody completed his medical training in New Zealand and his radiology training in New Zealand and Western Australia. He completed a body imaging fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and has undertaken further thoracic imaging sub-specialty training in Lille, France and London, United Kingdom. He’s an Associate Editor for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO); serves on the editorial board panel for Imaging PathwaysTM, Western Australia; and is also a peer reviewer for several international radiology journals. Dr. Weekakkody has a special interest in Thoracic and cardiovascular imaging, body, oncological and prostate imaging ultrasound and CT guided musculoskeletal and spinal interventional procedures.
